The CHC Board of Commissioners announced today their updated policy: "To encourage and facilitate a controlled return to safe, family recreational boating, allowing boat owners to access their boats for day use to and from their local mooring and for maintenance purposes".

The following Local Notices to Mariners have been issued today:

LNTM No. 15(T) of 2020

COVID-19 Government Guidelines for Recreational Boating

LNTM No. 16(T) of 2020

Cowes Harbour Facilities & Services Under COVID-19

All current Cowes LNTMs can be viewed online.

Owners, Agents, Charterers, Marinas, Yacht Clubs and Recreational Sailing Organisations should ensure that the contents of these Notices are made known to the Masters or persons in charge of their vessels or craft.

Please also check the guidance from the RYA before heading out.

Take care and have a great weekend!
